A young boy has been stabbed in Movers Lane, Barking at 01:00 BST. The young boy was presumed dead at the scene.

There had been an earlier disturbance at a party near the Ripple Centre.

Two males have been arrested one aged 16 and the other 20 years, on the suspicion of murder. They were close to the scene and had stab wounds.

The police stated that one of the boys arrested was taken to hospital to be treated, he has since

been released from hospital and detained in custody at an east London police station. The older male is still in hospital however his injuries are not life threatening.
